Isn’t it said that rain is lucky on your wedding day? If that’s true, Melanie and Thomas are all set for a lifetime of good fortune. It poured all morning!

Lisa and Derrick were married at Lisa’s parents’ house in West Chester on Saturday, the day before Father’s Day. It was only fitting since she shares a special bond with her father. After an emotional Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dance, Jack took the mic and addressed the guests gathered under the flag-topped white tent: “If you don’t know me, well, I’m a crier…”

After reading my session guide, Dan told me they are more of the “jeans and polo shirt kinda family.” And that’s okay!

At the end of the shoot, I knew we had plenty of stunning images for them, but I just didn’t want to say goodbye yet. So, we walked to Shot and Bottle, where they enjoyed a cocktail, and we had a little fun before they headed to dinner at Plough.

Calleigh will graduate from Lancaster Mennonite next spring.

The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA, was the perfect venue for Andie and Keenan’s party. The DJ from Bring on the Bash emailed me the next day to say how epic the party was and how much they can’t wait to see the photos.

The reception was relaxed and enjoyed by all the guests as they lounged on the balcony and mingled around the beautifully decorated tablescapes. There was plenty of delicious food and drinks provided by Robert Ryan Catering, and DJ Dan of Silver Sound Entertainment played all the music for those eager to dance.

The tablescapes, floral arrangements, and even the linens were stunning….

I wondered all day whether it was suggested that all the guests wear pink and blue because everyone seemed perfectly dressed in various shades of pink and blue. It was lovely! And Loch Aerie Mansion in Malvern, PA, was the ideal venue to host this colorful gathering of Erin and Michael’s favorite people.

Amidst all the silly faces and running around, we captured plenty of photos of him looking super handsome and following directions like he normally does.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t as perfect as it was for their engagement shoot. It rained almost all day.

Sara and John had the outdoor spring wedding of their dreams at Springfield Manor in Thurmont, Maryland, on Saturday.

Ahhhhh! Spring has arrived, and wedding season is here. Kim and Walter’s wedding at Historic Ashland was the perfect way to celebrate this joyful time.

We had a wonderful time downtown in State College, in their formal outfits. Old Main provided the perfect backdrop. And the weather? Oh my word. It was perfection!

These Florida residents traveled north to Pennsylvania for their intimate winter wedding on Valentine’s Day, the day we celebrate love above all others.

We dodged shoppers, Erin and Michael accepted many congratulations, and we played in the beautiful, green atmosphere of Otts Exotic Plants.

I had the pleasure of covering four hours of this beautiful day: their ceremony, formal photos of the family and wedding party, husband-and-wife portraits, and the reception’s formal events. I even managed to capture some of the party before heading home to batten down the hatches with my family.
