A Steamy Lancaster City Engagement Session | Nicole + Nino | June 11, 2026
I knew I adored Nicole and Nino within the first few moments of our video call. It was one of those conversations where I kept getting off track as we talked about random things that came up. I had to keep reminding myself to stay focused and explain how I approach photography on a wedding day. It just so happens Nino has photography knowledge related to his drone company, Aerial Prospex, so we got really excited discussing the possible drone shots and such. They asked for a proposal, and I happily sent it, knowing I was a perfect match for their Star Barn wedding. Then tragedy struck: they realized they had put down the wrong date on the contact form, and I was already booked for their actual date. I was heartbroken.
Of course, I offered them an associate. I made sure one of my top photographers was available and crossed my fingers, hoping they trusted me enough to ensure they were well taken care of on their big day. Because I wanted them to feel comfortable with her and because I wanted to meet them in person and photograph them, I offered to shoot their engagement session with Debbie, the photographer. To my delight, they accepted, and the photos below are the result. At the end of the shoot, I knew we had plenty of stunning images for them, but I just didn’t want to say goodbye yet. So, we walked to Shot and Bottle, where they enjoyed a cocktail, and we had a little fun before they headed to dinner at Plough. I’m obsessed with them and their photos. What do you think? Be sure to leave a comment for them!
Nicole and Nino will get married at The Star Barn at Stone Gable Estates next May, and I can’t wait to hear all about it. They are going to have an incredible day with Debbie, and I’m excited to see and edit the final photos. If their family and friends are anything like them, we already love them, too! I can’t wait to learn which other vendors they choose to bring their wedding vision to life.
Nicole and Nino,
Wow. Just wow. You two are incredible. Not just because you’re a gorgeous couple, but because of your kind, playful hearts, and contagious energy. I can’t get enough of you. I’ve enjoyed editing your photos, and I look forward to you seeing them all. Until then, I hope you enjoy this little sample of your Lancaster City engagement session on Thursday evening in the steamy heat. And since I know how hard it is to wait for the full gallery, there will be a surprise in your inbox later today, so don’t forget to check it!
Hugs,
Megan
