In the questionnaire I send out to my couples before their wedding day, I ask about the wedding’s color palette. I mainly want to know, but I also want to make sure I don’t wear anything that clashes with the wedding party’s colors. Erin and Michael wrote: Pink. Just pink. Apparently, anyone who knows Erin would realize that her wedding would feature the color pink in some way. She is obsessed with pink. The extent to which she decorated her wedding in pink… well, you’ll just have to see the photos below! I know Erin filled out the questionnaire because I learned throughout the day that if Mike had filled it out, he would have added that there would also be pops of blue, too. 😉

I wondered all day whether it was suggested that all the guests wear pink and blue because everyone seemed perfectly dressed in various shades of pink and blue. It was lovely! And Loch Aerie Mansion in Malvern, PA, was the ideal venue to host this colorful gathering of Erin and Michael’s favorite people. It has a charming old-world appeal, balanced nicely by modern amenities and an additional reception space. It’s the perfect location to host your wedding celebration, with easy driveability from the Philadelphia and Lancaster, PA areas.

Erin and Mike spent the first half of their wedding day with grace and poise. As for the party catered by John Serock Catering and DJed by DJ Walt Breslin, I have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride who let loose on the dance floor quite like Erin did. It was a joy to watch her open up with her friends from all parts of her life. Let me tell you, I’ve eaten a lot of wedding food during my 10 years as a wedding photographer, and John Serock Catering always delivers. For Erin and Mike’s wedding, I chose the vegetarian option. It was nice to see your two personalities in action, perfectly matched. Erin, I know how much the details matter to you, and that's why they sometimes stress you out! You handled the morning well, but when you finally connected with Mike, it was like your anxiety completely melted away. You let go, allowed yourself to relax, and to have fun.
