Fall Senior Photos for Samual Brickley from Hershey, PA | November 9, 2025
Samual told me that when his mom, Bridget, said after a long day of work that it was time to get his senior photos taken, he pulled out his phone, snapped a selfie, and said, “There, it’s done.” Not many senior boys are overly excited about senior photos. Heck, my second-born son refused to let me take his senior pictures two years ago. So, this didn’t surprise me. I see it as a challenge. Getting that genuine smile is a win, and I love to win! Honestly, it wasn’t too hard with Samual. He has a big heart and a good head on his shoulders—easy to talk to. Of course, he was going to try for me. That’s how he was raised. It’s impossible to get a genuine smile in every photo, but I think I got quite a few for them.
The ground was wet from earlier rain, but some spots had dried enough for sitting poses, and there were dry patches of ground to reach good lighting. Seeing the changing weather forecast earlier, I asked them to move Samual’s start time up as much as possible, and thankfully, they could. We had taken two photos of the last set with Samual’s truck when the rain began to fall. I snapped the final photo as the skies opened up and it started pouring. That was a wrap, but I knew I was taking home gold. Scroll down to see a few highlights from this fall senior portrait session.
Samual, I was really impressed with how well you followed directions and went with the flow during your shoot. I hope it wasn’t too uncomfortable for you! I also hope you realize how impressive it is that you’re already running your own business. Trust me, I understand how much work that takes. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to handle it all at your age. You have a bright future with that entrepreneurial spirit. Good luck with your future endeavors, and I hope you enjoy these photos. I think you look very handsome!
Hugs,
Megan
