A Spring Longwood Engagement Session | Christine + Rae | April 15 2023

While I won’t quote the joke that made me laugh the hardest because OMG. — Laugh, we did on this “every weather” engagement session.

I call shoots where we experience every different quality of light an “every weather shoot.” It was cloudy. It rained and the clear umbrellas came out. They danced in the glorious diffused light. And, we even went indoors into Longwood Garden’s breathtaking Conservatory.

Rain is romantic. Tulips are pretty. Formal gardens are lovely. And, the conservatory is like nothing else in the world. I’d say this shoot was as unique and amazing as Christine and Rae are. Perfect in every way that is their own.

I was lucky enough to capture their *first* proposal (Rae recently proposed to Christine so she could have her turn) and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day at Hazelwood Weddings in August of 2024. I absolutely cannot wait!

Christine and Rae,

As always, thank you for your kindness, humor and trust in me with such big moments in your life. I respect the heck out of you two and love you so much for who you are separately and together. You are amazing.

I hope you love this little sample of photos from your spring Longwood Gardens engagement shoot. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there will be a surprise in your inbox later today. So, don’t forget to check!

Xo - Megan
