A Sun-Kissed Longwood Gardens Engagement Session | Stephanie + Anthony | April 16, 2023

I glanced at the time on my phone. Longwood Gardens was closing in 15 minutes. Knowing Longwood was so special to them, I wanted to give them the option to try to get a shot in the Conservatory if the staff would allow it. It was probably a 5 minute walk from where we were in the spring blooms tulips and the staff were sure to want to go home after such a busy day.

I wasn’t sure if Stephanie and Anthony would want to waste the final minutes of their shoot walking to a destination that could very well end in being told to leave. When I posed the question, Stephanie gave a very sweet response saying it was really okay. But Anthony knows her better than anyone and stepped in to say, “You know what, yes. Let’s go for it!”

And go for it, we did. We high-tailed it over to the breathtaking building, home to thousands of perfect plants, 2 concert halls, and soon-to-be a new dining area. I inhaled the sweet smell of happy flowers as we entered. Not even through the second doorway, we were headed off immediately by staff letting us know that time was up. I promised to only take a photo at the entrance and head out and asked if that was okay. She softened, smiled and said, “Oh hunny go for it. You still have plenty of time until we sweep the building. Holding her hand to her mouth and tilting her head in secret she said, “Maybe even take them over there.” She gestured towards another beautiful spot and giggled.

I nodded in gratitude and we took the quickest round of Conservatory entrance shots ever…and they killed their melted kiss. Check out that epic shot below!

Stephanie and Anthony, you two were absolute fire on Sunday. Your love is undeniable. I adore your fun-loving spirits and your ability to go with the flow. I can’t wait to see what your best day ever at The Barn at Stoneybrooke ends up looking like. You really can’t go wrong there though!

September can’t come soon enough!

I hope you enjoy this little sample of your photos from Sunday’s Longwood Gardens engagement shoot. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there will be a surprise in your inbox later today. So, don’t forget to check!
