A Summer Engagement Session at Conestoga House and Gardens | Grace + Josh | August 4, 2025
Grace: I’m having the best time. I’ve never felt so beautiful in my life!
Me: Yay! You should. You are gorgeous! Josh, I hope you tell her all the time just how beautiful she is.
Josh: Every. Single. Day.
Gah! I fell in love with these two the moment they stepped out of their car at Conestoga House and Gardens. Maybe even earlier, when they chose the Gardens as their location. In the past, we could arrive with clients during their open-to-the-public hours. Now, besides a fee, clients must reserve a time, and your photographer has to handle some paperwork. It’s definitely worth it for this beauty! Don’t you agree?
This location, along with Grace and Josh’s old-world charm, was a match made in heaven. I couldn’t stop squealing with delight at each new spot and pose. I usually walk away from a shoot knowing exactly what I’ve recorded on my memory cards. This time, what I saw on my computer screen afterward was even better. I may have stayed up a little too late working on these, but it was worth it!
The lighting was perfect for the bright, true-to-color style that Grace and Josh love from my editing style. From the moment we entered the gardens until we said farewell, the light seemed to move with us, as if it loved Grace and Josh as much as I do. Something greater was at work that day. Maybe having the name Grace is, well, a little divine.
These two lovebirds are getting married at one of my favorite venues, Cameron Estate Inn, next October, and I can’t wait to make this magic happen again for them and all their party and guests. It’s also a bonus that the venue is just ten minutes from my house. Cameron Estate Inn truly is the perfect place for guests coming from different locations to gather for a wedding celebration. The rooms are charming, and their staff is ready to attend to your guests' every need during their entire stay. Scroll down to see all the gorgeous moments that Grace, Josh, and I created together on Monday. I personally can’t wait to finish editing the rest.
Grace and Josh, I hope you know how much I adore you both. Your style, your grace (pun intended), but most of all, how kind you are. You are a joy to be around and a delight to photograph. I hope you love this small sample of your extensive gallery from Conestoga House and Gardens on Monday. And because I know how hard it is to wait, there will be a surprise in your inbox later today. So, don’t forget to check it!
