Nina’s Riverside Senior Portrait Session

“So, lots of outfit changes. Excellent. How about shoes?” I asked after we got out of the cars, hugged and took a look at the outfits Nina brought for her senior portrait session.

“Yeah. About shoes…I’m more of a barefoot kinda person.” Nina answered with a giggle.

“Perfect!" I was just about to say, this would all be fun barefoot if you’re willing!”

Nina is into drama and music and has played quite a few rolls in her school’s musicals. Her mom told me when we were in the planning process that she loves the woods….maybe some by water…and a door. 🤷‍♀️ She also told me Nina REALLY wanted to bring a piano into the woods for a set but Mom wisely nixed that straight off for logistical reasons. LOL. I can still picture us trying to get a piano into “good light” for her portraits. Oh my. I WILL say on Nina’s behalf that IF we could have done that, it would have been epic. Nina can model for a styled shoot down the road if I’m involved in one with a piano….she could have been a model for how easy she was to work with. Maybe it was her drama/theater background or maybe (and most likely) she is just awesome and so very talented. She pulled off every look possible in every location and outfit.

Nina, you totally rocked your session. I am SO glad that your mom looked so far in advance to be able to schedule your senior portraits with me. It was SUCH as pleasure to meet you and work with you. You are a very special soul and are going to light the world up with that beautiful smile of yours. I hope you enjoy this small sample of photos from your session and because I know how hard it is to wait, there are some surprises in your inbox (well, your mom’s technically) RIGHT NOW so go check! XO – Megan
