A Pretty in Pink Family Session at Valley Forge National Park | The Woodcock Family | August 9, 2025
Alexis and Corey’s story began in their sophomore year of high school when they started dating. I later became part of their journey in 2021, after they hired me for their engagement session and their wedding, which was held in October 2022.
In the few years since their wedding, they have already welcomed a adorable baby girl named Stevie. It’s safe to say Alexis and Corey have embraced having a girl—and the color pink. Alexis has been dressing in pink for their photo sessions ever since their snowy maternity shoot in early 2024. They have been the picture of great parents from the moment Stevie arrived. In addition to having great parents, Stevie also loves matching outfits with Mommy, airplanes, and whenever Daddy takes both his girls to their favorite place—Disney, where they enjoy riding the bouncing bus to and from the park! They are the sweetest family, and I’m so happy to continue capturing their growing family through the years.
I’m always curious to see which of my wedding clients will stay with me after their big day. Scheduling portrait sessions with me at the last minute can be especially challenging, particularly if you prefer a weekend date, since I am primarily a wedding photographer. The prime dates tend to book well in advance with weddings, and my prices reflect my limited availability. That’s why it’s the true fans who take the time to plan ahead and save up to ensure their photos, displayed in their homes, carry the same visual signature. As my long-time clients know, if you become part of the family by returning regularly, I’ll go out of my way to fit you in because #familyfirst is always our priority for the #meganhofferfamily.
Stevie stayed calm during the shoot, although she was slow to smile for photos at first. I caught a few smirks here and there, but after an hour of playing around and being patient, she really opened up and showed her silly side. So fun! It was my first time at Valley Forge National Park, and it definitely won’t be my last. Wow, gorgeous. I had a great time playing with the lighting at the Memorial Arch with some of my all-time favorite clients. Scroll down to see more golden, glowing moments from this pretty-in-pink family session.
Alexis and Corey, like you mentioned in your text message to me, just when I think we’ve captured your best photos yet, it gets even better! I’m in love with these photos. I imagine Stevie looking at them someday as a parent, hoping to be as wonderful a mom as you were to her—probably how you feel about your mom, Sharon. Keep being the amazing people you are, and enjoy this selection of photos from your Valley Forge shoot with me. And, you know the drill. Check your email!
