Tami placed the veil neatly around Vanessa’s shoulders taking her time. With eyes downcast at her daughter’s hand now gently clasped in her own, she gave a little nervous laugh and said, “Okay sweetie. Playtime is over. Let’s put these play clothes away and head home.”

Glancing up, her eyes welled with happy tears of the reality: It was her darling daughter’s wedding day…and she was breathtaking.

Weddings are events full of raw emotion — an assembly of people from near and far. For many couples, it is the only time in their lives all their favorite people are together in one room. Vanessa and Tom are fiercely loved by many and it showed blazing bright in the size and energy of their wedding party and energy of the dance floor throughout the night.

It’s safe to say, these are two people who truly appreciate their pack. Every detail was considered from the perspective of their guests from the moment they arrived (whether that was for wedding week poolside for the wedding party or on the day of the grand event). The event was flawless. The food was decadent. The favors were thoughtful. The service was top-notch. The band was spectacular. It was an incredible day.

I can’t remember which speech specifically said it but they all alluded to the truth: It is a gift and an honor to know Vanessa and Tom. To know them is to know kindness and joy. It simply radiates from their very being and all the brighter when they are together. I think you will easily see that joy in the photos below.
