A Lovely Spring Longwood Gardens Engagement Shoot | Echo + Evan | April 29, 2023

This shoot was 12 years in the making. TWELVE YEARS.

Echo and Evan have known each other since high school. They’ve already stood the test of distance and time. And now — They’re officially tying the knot.

Their shoot was spectacular. After drenching rain the previous day and a forecast full of the same all morning, there were relatively few people there for a Saturday. It was wonderful. It was their first time at Longwood Gardens and I was so happy I got to show them its true splendor.

Echo packed to perfection and fast-walked, laughing her way from location to location, ready to change shoes in a heartbeat. Evan went with the flow, willing do anything to make Echo smile, laugh and relax to have fun. I love the balance of their relationship.

You can feel it when you meet a couple….whether their energy collides or it compliments. When they compliment each other, the couple can read the other’s energy (probably unconsciously) and counter it when needed with their own. Sometimes I wonder if this ability is what truly makes couples successful in the long run. Echo and Evan definitely have this ability and I adore them each one their own and also as a perfect fit couple.

They will be married at The Barn at Silverstone in April 2024. If their family and friends are anything like them, we are going to have an amazing day! I already can’t wait to see them again!

Echo and Evan, thank you for holding out on the forecast with me. I had a feeling it would work out. It was meant to be….just like you two. I hope you love this little sample of photos from your Longwood Gardens engagement session on Saturday. And, because I know how hard it is to wait, there will be a surprise in your inbox later today. So, don’t forget to check!

Xo - Megan
